    Greenville Co. Sheriff’s Office searching for kidnapping suspect

    (GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – Deputies are searching for a man they said was involved in a kidnapping incident in Laurens County on Saturday morning.

    According to Greenville County Sheriff’s Office, deputies are searching for a male suspect they described as 6’2″, 170 pounds with black dreads and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt and purple Nike shorts.

    The sheriff’s office said the man is believed to be armed and dangerous. He is currently believed to be in the area of New Harrison Bridge Road and Hipps Road in Simpsonville.

    The victim in the kidnapping is currently safe.

    Anyone who sees someone matching the suspects description is asked to call 911 immediately.
