    One person critically injured after crashing into pole

    SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — Syracuse Police Officers responded to a crash with injuries in the 500 block of North Salina Street, early Friday morning. The crash happened around 12:23 a.m.

    When police arrived they found a gray SUV had hit a light pole.

    Two people who were inside the car were taken to Upstate University Hospital. The driver of the car is currently listed in critical condition, while the passenger of the car is listed in stable condition.

    The investigation is active and ongoing. Anyone with information is encouraged to call the Syracuse Police at (315) 442-5130.
