SYRACUSE, NY (WSYR-TV) – It’s been unseasonably chilly and wet at times the last couple of days, but CNY it’s about to be pampered by Mother Nature. Find out the details below…

    We’re back on cruise control

Get ready to put the rain jackets aside for a while. We’ve finished up our first day of many without any rain. There is no threat of wet weather until late in the day next Wednesday! It looks like a perfect weekend to get those outdoor weekend chores done and we get closer to the winter season.

Along with the dry weather and daily doses of sunny weather, our temperatures gradually warm up each day too. Starting Thursday our highs return to the mid to upper 50s, 60s by Friday, and to within a few degrees of 70 this weekend!

This will make for great viewing of the brightening fall foliage across much of CNY this weekend, a nice view of the third consecutive Supermoon and sweet weather for any outdoor activities!

    Frosty chill by night

It’s likely another frosty night Thursday night and Friday night and possibly Saturday night. In fact, there are another round of frost advisories for parts of Central New Yok Thursday night as we get closer to the end of the growing season.
