Lane closures planned for I-81 in Cicero for bridge inspections

CICERO N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — The New York State Department of Transportation is alerting drivers of planned lane closures on I-81 North and I-81 South in the Town of Cicero, beginning Monday, October 21.

I-81 North will be reduced to one lane between Exit 102 (Bartell Road) and the on-ramp to I-81 northbound from Bartell Road. The closure will take place from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

I-81 South will be reduced to one lane between Exit 102 (Bartell Road) and the on-ramp to I-81 South from Bartell Road. The closure will take place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Both closures will run from Monday, October 21, to Friday, November 1 on weekdays. The NYSDOT said the closures are to facilitate bridge inspections.

Construction is weather-dependent and could change based on the conditions.
