CLEARFIELD COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — Drivers in DuBois are being told to plan ahead as railroad crews will be working at a crossing along Route 255.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that Progress Rail will install new active warning devices at the crossing along East DuBois Avenue on Tuesday, March 19.

The crossing is located at the intersection of Route 219 and Route 255 and the intersection of Route 255 and Division Street. Work is expected to last for a month.

PennDOT urged drivers to allow for extra time when traveling as workers will intermittently flag. However, most work will be done off the roadway.
