CLEARFIELD COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — Nearly $880,000 is heading to five Clearfield County municipalities to improve infrastructure, state Rep. Dallas Kephart (R-Clearfield/Cambria) announced Wednesday.

The Commonwealth Financing Authority distributed the grants through its Multimodal Transportation Funds. Below is a list of municipalities receiving funding.

Central Pennsylvania counties awarded $6 million for projects
    • $190,740 to Gulich Township for repaving three streets.
    • $109,445 to Morris Township for repair and repaving of Cemetery Road.
    • $190,250 to Westover Borough for street rehabilitation.
    • $191,705 to Boggs Township for repaving Hilltop Road.
    • $197,803 to Cooper Township for the reconstruction of Firehouse Road.

“Our constituents expect their hard-earned tax dollars to be put to work as investments in their communities,” Kephart said. “The local officials who initiated this process through grant applications deserve credit for taking initiative to meet local needs.”
