    DuBois residents warned of possible dirty water during line flushing

    DUBOIS, Pa. (WTAJ) — Residents of DuBois are being warned that their water might be dirty as the city flushes lines.

    The City of DuBois Water Department will begin flushing lines at the water filtration plant that will continue with flushing lines via fire hydrants on Sunday, April 14, starting at 7 p.m.

    Officials said the hydrant flushing will start in the second ward and will continue around the clock until completed.

    The schedule for all wards is as follows:

    • Second ward
    • Fifth ward
    • First ward
    • Third ward

    Officials said the flushing should last around one week and that residents may experience cloudy or dirty water for a period of time.
