CLEARFIELD COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — Those living in the Clearfield Borough will have the chance to have their lawn and yard waste picked up during the borough’s spring cleaning event.

Any yard waste that has accumulated during the winter months can be picked up curbside throughout the month of April. The borough will be collecting on both West and East sides of the river.

Everyone is asked to put all leaves and lawn clippings into biodegradable bags or boxes and place them at the curb. The borough will not take any building materials, home garbage, or metal. Property owners can dispose of yard waste at the borough’s compost site on 21st Street.

The Clearfield Borough also offers residential curbside recycling for aluminum cans, bimetallic cans and most clear, green and brown glass. The pickup for these items is scheduled for the first and third Tuesdays of the month.
