Altoona to host clean up days throughout May

BLAIR COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — Altoona will be hosting its annual clean- up days this year, which will take place every Wednesday in May.

The clean-up will take place from 4-8 p.m. each Wednesday. This year, volunteers are welcome to help clean up trash, paint, mulch and work on minor repair projects around the city. Anyone looking to volunteer can sign up online .

The clean-up days are as follows:

May 1
May 8
May 15
May 22
May 29
