CAMBRIA COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — West Hills Regional Fire Department was awarded a $25,000 state grant that will help in the purchasing of new equipment.

The grant, obtained by State Representative Frank Burns, will be used to purchase high-value safety and hazardous material mitigation equipment. The new equipment includes combustible and carbon monoxide gas detectors, a double-ended aluminum roof ladder and a battery-powered positive pressure fan to help clear smoke and dangerous gases from confined spaces.

“This is a huge, huge addition for us. Oh, my God, this equipment – that fan alone is over $11,000, and that’s a lot of money to come up with,” Chief Kevin Schrock said. “The fact that Frank was able to get us this high-value equipment is a big help to us. It would have taken us a long time to get the money to purchase this type of equipment.”

Burns said he recognized the importance of adding the equipment, as the West Hills Regional Fire Department provides fire and ambulance services that benefit three boroughs and one-half of a township, serving that area 24 hours a day.

Look theres nitwit Marty Radovanic. Who takes his shoes off to stand in sewer water after the 77 flood. Just for show, just like the moron he is. As for the West Hills Fire Department if they want to get high they can go next door 🚪 to get drugs from the police evidence locker room. Naturally no questions asked. Plus WJAC-TV will only loop that story just one time for their hero friends. What a joke. Fake news 🗞️ is also covered up news. Johnstown Pa style!
