CLEARFIELD, Pa. (WTAJ) — The Clearfield community can provide input on a new pocket park set to be built at 24 North Second Street now that the demolition of the abandoned building that previously stood there has been completed.

The Redevelopment Authority of Clearfield County (RACC) is asking for the public’s input and will hold a public meeting to discuss on May 22 at 6 p.m. at the Clearfield YMCA on North Second Street. Those with ideas for the “minipark” are encouraged to share their concepts.

ORIGINAL STORY: Demolition begins on blighted property in Clearfield Borough

Project landscape architect, Jennie Ryan-Gisewhite, a Clearfield native, will be at the meeting to gather public thoughts and put them into design.

The goal of the revitalization project is to create a small, accessible space in the downtown area that will beautify a previously blighted area.
