ALTOONA, Pa. (WTAJ) — Oak Spring Winery is bringing new “spirits” to the community.

“814 Distillery” has become the first and only legal distillery in the Blair County area. The distillery will have a variety of vodka, rum and whisky flavors that are all made in house.

The distillery opened beside the winery about three months ago, but from May 31 through June 2 they’ll be hosting a grand opening.

“We’ll have music as well. Food trucks, things like that. Everybody welcome, come on down. You can see, test the products, taste the products. They’ll have stuff available for sale. I mean, just the finished product. Once you get the finished product, I mean, it’s just really cool watching it,” Perry Flaugh, distiller, said.
