DUNCANSVILLE, Pa. (WTAJ) — People from all across the area came together Saturday for a sensory walk in Blair County.

Children and families attending the event were able to walk at their own pace, for however long they wanted. The Central PA Autism Community sponsors the event every year to promote awareness and acceptance of children with autism and disabilities. Organizers said it also allows parents to network.

“One of the reasons we do this is because autism is not going to go anywhere, and not only does our organization have autism in the name, but we accept all kids with all disabilities,” Lindsay Martsolf, President of the Central PA Autism Community, said.
