JEFFERSON COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — The Jefferson County-Dubois Area Vocational-Technical School (Jeff Tech) has announced an agreement that will allow some credits to be transferred to Penn Highlands Community College .

The agreement allows Jeff Tech’s Digital Communications students to apply their completed program credits into the Media Production associate degree program at Penn Highlands.

A once-common bee has nearly died off: Could it return in Pennsylvania?

A maximum of three classes or nine credits can be transferred through the articulation process and into the Media Production program, including:

    • MPR 100 Introduction to Production
    • MPR 130 Radio Production
    • MPR 250 Video Production

In order to transfer, the courses must be completed with a grade of “C” or higher.

“We are excited to be working with our partners at Jeff Tech in providing meaningful pathways for students to further their education after graduation,” Michelle Stumpf, Dean of Enrollment Services and Registrar at Penn Highlands said.
