BLAIR COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — The SPC. Chad A. Edmundson Memorial Foundation, Inc. will be hosting its 14th annual Dice Run and Remembrance Day.

The event is set to begin at 11 a.m. with rider’s kickstands up at noon on June 1, at Riverside Park in Williamsburg. Registration for the event will run from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. There will also be vendors, food, music and prizes all day. Riders are set to return at 5 p.m.

“We expect a large crowd this year and hope that everyone that attends has a great time. Also doing this event every year gives a chance for area communities to come together. We would like to thank everyone in advance for supporting not only the foundation but honoring the life of our son Chad,” Chad’s Parents, Roy Edmundson and Karen Cornell, said.

The SPC. Chad A. Edmundson Memorial Foundation Inc. was formed in honor of a young man who gave his life serving his country in Iraq on May 27, 2009, during Operation Iraqi Freedom. This foundation is a non-profit corporation whose mission is to support active duty military personnel and their families in time of need, support veterans and veteran’s projects and inspire Americanism and Patriotism in communities.
