Duo arrested with 3 lbs. of marijuana in Somerset County

SOMERSET COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — Two men from West Virginia were arrested in Somerset County after they were caught with approximately three pounds of marijuana.

Preston Batts, 45, and Ryan Anderson, 44, were arrested on Wednesday, Aug. 7. According to Somerset County District Attorney, Molly Metzgar, officers from the Somerset Borough Police Department conducted an investigation and seized the following from the two men:

Approximately three pounds of marijuana
Suspected cocaine
Packaged THC candies

Both are in Somerset County Prison with bail set at $15,000. They’re facing felony charges of possession with the intent to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia.
