    Cambria County bridge closed after support beams rotted

    CAMBRIA COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — A bridge in Cambria County was closed immediately after crews determined that the support beams were rotting.

    The Hunt Road Bridge in East Taylor Township was closed after an inspection found that the beams were rotting, according to Rickey Price with the Cambria County Swift Water Rescue Team. No vehicles, including emergency ones, may travel on the road.

    Around 12 households are going to be affected by the closure.

    The township is working with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and the Engineering and Architectural Design Services to fix the issues.

    There is no timeline for when the bridge will reopen.
