Meadows of Hollidaysburg announces name for groundhog found in claw machine

BLAIR COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — The Meadows of Hollidaysburg announced that the furry friend found in the claw machine has been named!

According to a Facebook post by the frozen custard shop, the name that won was “Colonel Custard.” The winner will receive a $25 gift card as a thank you for helping name the groundhog that made himself at home in the claw machine.

BLAIR COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — After finding a furry friend in their claw machine a little over a week ago, The Meadows is looking to give him a name!

On July 31, the frozen custard shop found the groundhog in the mix of stuffed animals in a claw machine. While the owners weren’t quite sure how he ended up inside there, they called over to the Pa. Game Commission who safely removed the groundhog.
