    Penelec announces planned power outage for parts of Blair County

    BLAIR COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — Penelec announced that there will be a planned power outage in parts of Blair County on Aug. 26.

    The planned outage on Monday will affect the area of Tyrone Borough, Snyder Township and Warriors Mark. Customers in the vicinity of S. Eagle Valley Road, California Hollow Road, Old Rt. 220 North, Decker Hollow Road, Baughman Hollow Road, Vanscoyoc Hollow Road, Rt. 22, Rt. 350, Tyrone Pike and Warriors Mark Path are expected to be affected.

    Customers impacted by this outage will experience a service interruption from 8:00 a.m. –  3:00 p.m. In the event of an unforeseen emergency or inclement weather, the outage will then take place on Wednesday, Aug. 28th during the same time frame.
