ROARING SPRING, Pa. (WTAJ) — The Roaring Spring Community Library is looking to help students with clothing for the back-to-school season.

The library is hosting a clothing drive and asking for donations of clean slightly used or new clothes for their school giveaway.

“We need clothes. Whether it be jeans, pants, shirts from infant up to adult sizes for the back to school. School supplies as well and shoes,” Ellie Smiley, Volunteer Coordinator at the library said.

The library will be accepting donations through the end of August. You can drop off any items at the library Monday through Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

“We have so many people in our community and as well outside of our community are in such need for clothes because the clothes are so expensive and they can’t afford them to buy them,” Smiley said.
