    Annual Johnstown Classic Car Show set for early September

    JOHNSTOWN, Pa. (WTAJ) — The 15th annual Antique & Classic Car & Motorcycle event is set for Sept. 7 in Johnstown.

    The annual event held by the Johnstown Super Cruise Committee is back for its 15th year to benefit the Laurel Highlands Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 364.

    Antique, classics, tuners, rat rods, trucks and new vehicles, and motorcycles will fill the parking lot from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Greater Johnstown Christian Fellowship Church at 3429 Elton Road in Richland Township.

    The first 150 vehicles will receive dash plaques. There is a $10 cruise vehicle registration fee.

    This year’s Super Cruise will honor the late Jack Turn who played an instrumental part in starting the cruise years ago.

    In the event of rain, the show will be postponed until Sept. 14.

    Basket raffles, door prizes, games, food vendors, music, military displays and a K-9 dog demonstration be at the event.
