DuBois man accused of indecent assault, exposure with child

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — A DuBois man is facing several charges for allegedly making a child touch him inappropriately.

Jason Jablonski, 52, is facing charges for an alleged incident that happened in Reynoldsville, Jefferson County several years ago. On Aug. 18, 2021, a guardian of the child came forward to police and said that the child was exhibiting sexual behaviors that were allegedly learned from Jablonski, according to the criminal complaint.

When police attempted to ask the child about Jablonski the child “locked up and walked out of the interview.” Nearly three years later, the child came forward to another guardian. On May 15, 2024, in another interview, the child disclosed that Jablonski was a “bad guy.”

In that interview, the child told officers that Jablonski exposed himself and made them touch his “private parts,” according to the criminal complaint. The child said that these instances happened on multiple occasions when they were around 5 years old.

Jablonski is in the Jefferson County Prison with bail set at 10% of $100,000. He is facing felony charges of indecent assault of a person less than 13, unlawful contact with a minor, corruption of a minor and endangering the welfare of a child. He is also facing misdemeanor charges of indecent exposure and indecent assault.

He has a preliminary hearing scheduled for Sept. 10.
