    One dead after motorcycle accident in Centre County

    STATE COLLEGE, Pa. (WTAJ) —A 22-year-old man is dead after he was involved in an accident on Monday in State College.

    According to the State College Police Department, on Aug. 26 they responded to East College Avenue and Struble Road for a report of a multi-vehicle crash. The accident was between a Toyota Prius and a motorcycle.

    A 73-year-old man was driving the Prius and a 22-year-old was driving the motorcycle. Police said that the two vehicles collided and the motorcyclist was ejected. The motorcyclist was flown to UPMC Altoona where he was then pronounced dead.

    The 73-year-old was treated at the scene for minor injuries. An investigation is currently ongoing and names are being withheld pending family notifications.
