    One dead in tractor-trailer crash, section of Interstate now reopen

    JEFFERSON COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — A multi-vehicle crash and tractor-trailer fire left a man dead and a section of I-80 closed for several hours Wednesday morning.

    Jefferson County Coroner Brenda Shumaker confirmed that a 30-year-old male was killed in the Wednesday morning crash where a tractor-trailer caught fire on I-80.

    According to 511PA, I-80 westbound was closed between Exit 97: US 219 and Exit 81: PA 28 for several hours as crew worked to clean up the accident.

    Video posted to social media shows multiple tractor-trailers were involved with one of them being engulfed by flames.
