    Johnstown man accused of beating, kicking pregnant woman

    CAMBRIA COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — A Johnstown man is facing charges after he allegedly assaulted a pregnant woman who was holding a child.

    Warren Wills, 30, is facing felony charges after he beat, choked and kicked a pregnant woman, according to a criminal complaint. Officers from the Johnstown Police Department were called to the Oakhurst apartments on Tuesday, Aug. 27 for a report of a physical assault.

    Once on scene officers spoke with the victim who said that Wills had attacked after she had been gone too long, according to the affidavit. Officers noted that the woman had multiple bruises, cuts and blood on her face.

    The woman told police that she had left the apartment to go and get diapers adding that she had to go to two stores as the first did not have any. She added that she was out for about two hours and that when she got home there did not seem to be any issues at first.

    Wills then allegedly got angry at her and accused her of having been gone too long. The victim said she was then hit multiple times in the head and choked by Wills. Police noted in the complaint that they could see marks around the victim’s neck. The victim added that when Wills attacked her she was holding her daughter.

    According to the complaint, the victim said she ended up on the ground and then Wills allegedly kicked her twice in the stomach. She advised officers that she was 13 weeks pregnant.

    Wills in Cambria County Prison with bail set at 10% of $30,000. He is facing felony charges of aggravated assault, strangulation and a misdemeanor charge of harassment.

    He has a preliminary hearing scheduled for Sept. 11.
