CAMBRIA COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — A Cambria County man is facing charges after he hurt a man and was found by police waving machetes.

Kyle Nagle, 34, of Mineral Point, is facing charges after he allegedly threatened to kill another man, according to a criminal complaint. On Thursday, Sept. 5 officers from the Nanty Glo Borough Police Department and Jackson Township Police Department were called to a home on the 100 block of Johndora Road for a report of a violent man.

Police spoke with a man who said that Nagle was allegedly using drugs and had shown up at his home. Once on scene, officers found the victim lying on the ground after he had been punched by Nagle, according to the complaint.

Nagle, at the time police arrived, was waving around two long machetes. Police tased him at which point he dropped the weapons and was arrested. The victim told officers that Nagle had been told he was not allowed at the home “due to his issues,” Nagle then got upset, punched him and allegedly threatened to kill him.

According to the affidavit, Nagle threatened officers by saying that the “machetes were for (responding officer name).”

Nagle is in the Cambria County Prison with bail set at 10% of $55,000. He is facing felony charges of aggravated assault and misdemeanor charges of terroristic threats, simple assault and resisting arrest.
