Update: PSP finds no explosives at Indiana County school

UPDATE:

INIDANA COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — Pennsylvania State Police confirmed that there were no explosive devices found at the Penns Manor Junior/Senior High School.

Troopers were originally called to the district after a note was found indicating that bomb was in the building. However, after investigation, there were no devices found, according to the Special Operations Explosives Detection K9 Unit.

The investigation is still active, and anyone with information on the incident is encouraged to contact Troop A, Indiana at 724-357-1960.

INDIANA COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — Pennsylvania State Police are currently investigating a threat at Penns Manor Area School District.

On Sept. 9, at around 9:52 a.m., troopers were called to the school district on reports that a note was found in a bathroom at the junior/senior high school. The note had indicated that there was a bomb in the building, according to PSP.

Penns Manor Area School District students are being dismissed from school, however, troopers noted that no explosives have been found. PSP Bureau of Emergency and Special Operations Explosives Detection K9 Unit is on the scene and currently investigating.
