Joshua David Anspach, 46, and Crystal Lynn Dollar, 43, were arrested on multiple drug charges and child endangerment after Altoona police went to their home while investigating a stolen car that was found in the city.

According to the criminal complaint, Dollar was at the residence with a 10-month-old she said she was babysitting. While speaking with Dollar, another officer was in the kitchen with Anspach and spotted a baggie of methamphetamine sitting on the stove. Police noted that Anspach claimed it wasn’t meth and then changed the story to say a friend was there earlier and left the baggie on the stove.

Police said the two agreed to let them search the residence, however, Dollar told Anspach she didn’t think it was a good idea to let them search. According to charges, a parent of the infant came for the child and Dollar and Anspach were taken to the Altoona Police Department.

After receiving a search warrant, police said various pills and drugs were found in the home all within reach of the child at the time, including a glass pipe with drug residue, marijuana, and THC gummies. Police noted that various packaging materials were also found, along with more than $300 all in 20 dollar bills.
