Community resource fair to take place at Altoona library

BLAIR COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — PA CareerLink of Blair County has announced that they’ll be hosting a fair to provide needed resources to the community.

The Community Resource Fair will take place on Thursday, Sept. 12 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Altoona Area Public Library. The event is a celebration of the statewide PA CareerLink Days. The goal is to help provide resources and support that local organizations and agencies offer to community members.

Resources such as veterans services, mental health services, legal aid, housing and utility assistance are just some of what will be available. The event is free and open to the public.
