    Six school kids taken to hospital after Centre County crash: PSP

    CENTRE COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — Seven people, including 6 children, had to be taken to the hospital after a crash in Centre County on Tuesday.

    According to Pennsylvania State Police (PSP), the crash was between a school van and a truck. The accident happened near mile marker 161 on I-80 in Marion Township. PSP noted that the school van was traveling in the left lane and failed to see the stopped truck.

    One dead after multi-vehicle crash in Cambria County

    The truck was directing traffic to the right lane when the school van crashed into it. Six children and the driver of the school van were all taken to Mt. Nittany Hospital. The extent of their injuries are unknown at this time.

    The truck had disabling damage and the school van had to be towed.

    PSP noted in the report that there were no adverse weather conditions and that the driver may be cited following an investigation.
