CENTRE COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — State Rep. Kerry Benninghoff (R-Centre/Mifflin) is partnering with the Pennsylvania State Police to host two license replacement events, including one in Centre County.

Constituents whose license plates are hard to read or are damaged will be given copies of forms MV-44 and MV-46 to fill out. Members of Benninghoff’s staff will handle getting them to PennDOT for submission.

Child safety seat events scheduled for Cambria County

Here are details on the two events:

    • Saturday, Oct. 12 – Centre Hall Elementary School, 211 N. Hoffer Ave., Centre Hall (8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.)
    • Thursday, Sept. 26 – Brown Township Building, 22 Brown Township Drive, Reedsville (4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.)

“A registration plate is deemed illegible when one or more numbers or letters cannot be recognized from 50 feet or if the registration plate shows any blistering, peeling, discoloration or loss of reflectivity,” Benninghoff said. “We’re hosting two opportunities to have those plates replaced.”
