JOHNSTOWN, Pa. (WTAJ) — The Greater Johnstown Trojans ended a 43-game losing streak Friday night, earning their first win since October 2019 with a victory over Central Cambria at Trojan Stadium.

Head coach Antwuan Reed secured his first career win as the Trojans’ leader, aided by his sons Julius and Zymir Reed, who led the team on both offense and defense. The victory also handed Central Cambria another loss, leaving them winless on the season.

Johnstown’s last win came nearly five years ago in a matchup against Somerset. Since then, the team has struggled to find success on the field until tonight’s breakthrough.

The win offers hope for a brighter future for the Trojans as Reed works to rebuild the program.
