    Altoona to host pride parade, community activities

    BLAIR COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — The Blair County Inclusion Alliance announced that it will be hosting a pride parade in October.

    The parade, which is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 11, is slated to begin at 6:30 p.m. It will kick off on Ninth Street and Green Ave. and end on 16th Street and 11th Ave. There will be community tables set up in the Heritage Plaza for after the parade.

    The parade is a family-friendly event, with all ages welcome. The alliance asks anyone who would like to participate in the parade to sign up on their website, which can be found by clicking here .
