Million dollar Mega Millions and Powerball tickets sold in Pennsylvania in two days

(WTAJ) — Two games, two million dollar winners — Powerball and Mega Millions proved lucky in Pennsylvania the past two days.

On Monday, Sept. 23, a million-dollar Powerball ticket was sold in Philadelphia. However, if the player had purchased Power Play (03), the ticket would have been worth $3 million. According to the PA Lottery, more than 26,000 other players won between $4 and $500.

Tuesday night’s Mega Millions (Sept. 24) saw a million-dollar winner, but it has yet to be revealed where the ticket was sold in Pennsylvania. If the player had purchased Megaplier (05), the ticket would be worth $5 million. More than 18,000 others won between $2 and $2,500, the lottery said.

The jackpot for both games remained untouched, bringing the Powerball Jackpot for Wednesday to an estimated $223 million. Friday night’s Mega Millions is at an estimated $77 million.
