BLAIR COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is warning drivers that minor delays will be likely on a portion of U.S. Route 22 next week.

Delays will be likely as work will begin along a 1.5-mile section of Route 22 near Canoe Creek. Work will begin on Monday, Sept. 30 and will be conducted under temporary traffic control signals.

PennDOT’s Maintenance department will be cutting the roadway and excavating a large undercut area in the eastbound lane of U.S. Route 22 between the intersections of Flowing Springs Road and Route 886 (Juniata River Road).

Work is expected to last three days.
