STATE COLLEGE, Pa. (WTAJ) — For the first time in over 10 years, Cirque du Soleil is turning State College on its head with its 2025 tour.

With what they call “OVO,” Cirque du Soleil will return to State College with a “newly revised high-energy and high-acrobatic production.”

The show will be held at the Bryce Jordan Center from March 26 to March 30. The company touts that OVO will explore beauty, biodiversity, contrasts and vibrancy as only Cirque du Soleil can do. Three new acts were recently added to the show in 2022 that will “delight audiences of all ages.”

Those in charge said that OVO is a headlong rush into a colorful ecosystem, full of life in a non-stop riot of energy and movement.

OVO means “egg” in Portuguese. It’s a timeless symbol of the life cycle and birth of numerous insects, underlying the thread of the colorful show.
