Penn State opens up Big Ten play with a 21-7 win under the lights at Beaver Stadium. The Nit Wits Ryan Risky, Neil Rudel, Mark Brennan, and former Nittany Lion quarterback Chuck Fusina break down the win. Offensively Penn State ran for more than 200 yards and defensively were able to hold Illinois to a miniscule 1.1 yards per carry, but there were concerns in the game for Penn State such as penalties and the kicker position after Sander Sahaydak missed two more field goals.
