    Families invited to ‘Read Under the Lights’ event in Curwensville

    CURWENSVILLE, Pa. (WTAJ) — Families in the Curwensville area are invited to grab their blankets and books for a special literacy event this Friday evening, Oct. 4, at Andy Evanko stadium.

    The Curwensville Area School District will host its annual “Read Under the Lights 2024,” an evening designed to promote reading through fun, family-friendly activities.

    Juniper Village seeks candy donations and volunteers for annual Trick-or-Treat event

    The event will begin with gates opening at 5 p.m., offering families a chance to get comfortable on the field before the reading festivities start at 5:30 p.m. Running until 7 p.m., the event features literacy-themed activities, and the concession booth will be open for families to enjoy dinner on-site.

    Curwensville Superintendent Brady O’Hare extended the invitation, encouraging families to come together for a night dedicated to promoting the joy of reading.
