Bedford County dental practice to offer free care to veterans, military members

BEDFORD COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — Radiant Dental of Bedford has announced that they’ll be hosting an event in October to provide military members with free dental care.

On Thursday, Oct. 10 they’ll be offering services to both veterans and active-duty military members as part of Freedom Day USA. That day is dedicated to being America’s largest thank you to the military. Each year businesses and groups provide tokens of appreciation to those who attend their events.

Freedom Day USA participants across the country provided vital services to veterans who often face challenges accessing dental care. Radiant Dental of Bedford said they are excited to bring this initiative to our Central Pennsylvania.

During that event, they’ll be offering dental exams, cleanings and basic restorative care to those who have served our country.

“We reach out to veterans in the community year-round to make sure they know we’re here for them,” Dr. Kyle Dumpert said. “It’s not just about October 10—it’s about building lasting relationships and trust with our veterans.”
