BEDFORD COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — A woman was killed just after midnight Saturday when her SUV rolled multiple times, throwing her from the vehicle.

State police said that 53-year-old Tammy Hiett, of New Paris, was pronounced dead when they were called to a crash on Shawnee Road (Route 96) in Napier Township around 12:08 a.m. Oct. 5.

Troopers reported that Hiett was traveling on Shawnee Road in a Chevy Blazer when, for unknown reasons, she left the roadway and struck a ditch. The Blazer then rolled over multiple times. Hiett was thrown from the SUV in the process.
