UPDATE: New details have been released on the multi-county chase that led to the driver being flown to a local hospital.

According to the criminal complaint released Wednesday morning, Timothy James Bogel, 33, of Altoona, was spotted in Huntingdon Borough Tuesday around 8:30 p.m. in a Ford F-150 police said was reported stolen out of Logan Township, Blair County.

When attempting a traffic stop, police said Bogel took off at a high rate of speed through the borough, eventually reaching Route 22 and then Interstate 99 in Blair County. At that point, state police noted speeds over 100 miles per hour on the highway.

Troopers stated Bogel got off of I-99 at the Bald Eagle exit and made his way onto Route 350. While traveling into Sandy Ridge, Centre County, Bogel began to slow speeds into the 60s, the complaint reads. At this point, a trooper from PSP Huntingdon was able to execute a PIT maneuver on the Ford.

According to charges, Bogel lost control of the truck and spun before hitting an embankment, causing the truck to flip onto its roof. Bogel was trapped until EMS and fire departments arrived roughly ten minutes later.

Bogel was arraigned on fleeing and receiving stolen property charges along with summer traffic violations. He was placed in Huntingdon County Prison.
