PennDOT looking to fill positions at Centre County job fair

CENTRE COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is inviting the public to attend their upcoming job fair in Bellefonte.

On Tuesday, Oct. 15, they’ll be hosting a job fair at the Centre County Maintenance Office (1000 E. Bishop Street) from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. During the fair, staff will be on hand to answer applicants’ questions about the opportunities available, help applicants submit their online applications, and, for select positions, conduct driver’s skills tests and on-the-spot interviews.

Prospective employees are encouraged to bring their résumé. Some of the available positions include roadway programs technician, transportation equipment operator and radio dispatcher.

These will be both permanent and temporary employment opportunities at the event.

Attendees are advised to bring two forms of ID with them to the event in case conditional offers are made.
