SOMERSET, Pa. (WTAJ) — A popular fall tradition in Somerset is gearing up for another year of family-friendly fun, with organizers expecting a large turnout for this year’s event.

The celebration, set for Saturday, Oct. 19, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Penn Highlands College, promises an exciting day for the community.

Hosted by the Somerset Kiwanis Club, in collaboration with the Somerset Lions Club and Somerset Trust Company, the event is expected to draw thousands. Last year’s celebration at Somerset Lake Saw more than 3,000 attendees, and this year’s move to Penn Highlands is anticipated to bring even more excitement.

With over 26 businesses handing out treats, face painting, and fire department rescue demonstration, there’s something for everyone. “We’d love for the community to come out and enjoy the day with us,” Valerie Woy, president of the Somerset Kiwanis Club said.
