    Arrest made after Jefferson County bank robbery

    JEFFERSON COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — An arrest was made after a Jefferson County bank was robbed Thursday morning, according to state police out of Punxsutawney.

    Justin Hopkins, 36, of Big Run, was charged with robbery, theft and terroristic threats after allegedly robbing the Marion Center Bank on East Main Street in Big Run Borough.

    State troopers said that Hopkins walked into the bank around 10:30 a.m. Oct. 16, with a red bandana covering his face. He then allegedly demanded money from the teller.

    Hopkins was said to have made off with over $840, according to a state police report.

    Troopers noted that he was found in Big Run Borough and taken into custody without incident.

    Hopkins was placed in Jefferson County Prison with bail set at 10 percent of $100,000.

    $840. Doesn’t seem worth it considering the costs to him for the deed. Needs 3 more zeros , but even then.
