    Wanted man in custody after escaping police in Cambria County

    UPDATE: The Cambria County Sheriff’s Office reports that Gwinn was apprehended and in custody.


    CAMBRIA COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — A Johnstown man is on the run after escaping police custody Thursday afternoon.

    Law enforcement are searching for 29-year-old Mikel Gwinn, of Johnstown, recent court documents show.

    Gwinn is wanted by state parole and escaped custody Thursday afternoon, Oct. 17. Below is his most recent mugshot and a photo of him being taken into custody this afternoon. Officials believe he may still be wearing the undershirt from the second photo.
