Food drive at Cambria County Walmart to help area veterans

EBENSBURG, Pa. (WTAJ) — The Laurel Highlands Historical Village (LHHV) has organized a food drive that will help area veterans and their families.

The drive will be happening at the Ebensburg Walmart on Friday, Oct. 18 from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. LHHV will be collecting food, paper goods, hygiene products, gift cards and other necessities.

They are also accepting new and used kitchen appliances such as mixers, air fryers and blenders. Laundry products and vacuums can be donated as well.

Gift cards and monetary donations can be mailed to the LHHV Office at 390 Rose Branch Street, Johnstown, PA 15909. They added that supplies are “extremely low” and they have seen a rise in veterans needing help.
