    Pennsylvania woman charged with DUI, child endangerment after multi-vehicle crash

    JEFFERSON COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — A 30-year-old woman is facing multiple charges, including driving under the influence (DUI) and endangering the welfare of a child, following a three-vehicle crash in Jefferson County.

    Brianne Rose Dzwieleski of Clinton Township was arrested on Oct. 15 after Pennsylvania State Police responded to a crash on Route 219 in Snyder Township. Dzwieleski was allegedly driving under the influence while traveling with her juvenile daughter to a concert in Ohio, according to police.

    The incident occurred when Dzwieleski attempted to pass a tractor-trailer on a double yellow line, nearly causing a head-on collision. she later tested positive for impairment by a controlled substance, confirmed by a Drug Recognition Expert (DRE) evaluation conducted at the PSP DuBois barracks.

    Charges against Dzwieleski include DUI, endangering the welfare of a child, reckless driving, and related offenses. Her bail was set at $15,000 unsecured, and she is awaiting a preliminary hearing scheduled for Dec. 3.

    Dzwieleski’s blood was drawn for legal test at Penn Highlands DuBois, and the results are pending.

    If convicted, she faces severe penalties due to the DUI involving a minor.
