Pet Adoption Ice Cream Social to benefit Central PA Humane Society

BLAIR COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — Stuckey Subaru in Hollidaysburg will be hosting a Pet Adoption Ice Cream Social.

The free event on Saturday, Oct. 19 will feature pets for adoption and ice cream for both two-legged and four-legged guests. Anyone who is not looking to adopt is still welcome.

Donations will be collected at the event for the Central PA Humane Society. Stuckey Subaru partnered with Subaru of America to celebrate Subaru Loves Pets month by donating $12,000 to the animal shelter.

The ice cream will be provided by the Classic Cones Ice Cream Truck and by Just Jaks whose ice cream is specially made for dogs and cats. The ice cream social will run from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
