    Florida man found drunk on vehicle’s hood in middle of Clearfield road: Police

    CLEARFIELD COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — A Florida man was found in the middle of the road jumping on the hood of his vehicle, Clearfield Regional Police reported.

    A 42-year-old man from Florida was arrested for driving under the influence after officers spotted him in the middle of Reed Street and N. 3rd Street in Clearfield Borough with the doors to his vehicle open and music blasting.

    Police said the male, later identified as Thomas Wayne Colbert, of Fort Myers, Fla., was seen jumping up and down on the hood of the vehicle and then jumped to the roof before noticing police were there.

    Officers noted that the man was three times over the legal limit (0.08). He was placed in Clearfield County Jail with bail set at $10,000.

    what do you expect? he's from florida. Florida because of the heat has beer with a 1.9 and similar alcohol by volume. in my younger days I maintained a yard for a Floridian who vacationed up here in the summertime because he was from up here, and he would give me a beer to drink after I finished. it was like drinking water. beer up here has on average 4.3 alcohol by volume. twice as strong so if he drank as many up here as he did in Florida he would be twice as drunk.
