Anheuser-Busch donates water to Altoona volunteer fire department

ALTOONA, Pa. (WTAJ) —A popular beer company has donated water to help firefighters in Logan Township.

Anheuser-Busch has donated 80 cases of canned water to firefighters of Greenwood that will help keep them hydrated as they continue to protect and serve in the community. Furrer Beverage Co., Inc. delivered the water to the firefighters on behalf of Anheuser-Busch.

Mark Rispoli, Chief of the Greenwood Volunteer Fire Department was extremely grateful for the donation.

“We sincerely appreciate Anheuser-Busch’s support and commitment to our firefighters. This donation of canned water ensures that our personnel have access to vital hydration during their demanding and often challenging duties. It’s heartening to see corporations like Anheuser-Busch step forward to assist those who safeguard our community,” Rispoli said.

Anheuser-Busch’s donation of the canned water is part of their corporate citizenship and their proactive approach to supporting local emergency responders.
